Just for the record since you guys all make some really valid points and some really retarded ones. If you click on the silk road become a vendor link they give you guidelines. One of them is you must ship usps. the reason? USPS requires a warrant to open a package. That is why they use usps. People do get packages seized often tho and sometimes they even get a love letter from customs saying they had a package seized at customs and if they would like to argue or dispute it they may and give more information. The chances of any of these things happening are slim but unfortunately they do happen and actually more often than you would think. People don't recieve orders all the time and actually as of recent it seems that people have been posting on the forums that orders from the netherlands have been coming very slowly or even not at all. it is possible and it is actually believed that the customs of many countries scrutinize those packages more than other countries.

and honestly with the way the movement of goods has changed (ebay) people arent really scrutinizing cheap looking electronic parts

99% of vendors don't ship the way my vendor did. He's known for the best or one of the best packaging methods.

Maybe, but I'm pretty sure the US Government isn't retarded as you think they are. FBI know pretty well that this silkroad website exists and are probably checking packages more often from those specific countries. Also, how safe you are is determined by the shipper and how good he secured the drugs. There are tons of drug sniffing dogs and xray machines that confiscate a ton of drugs everyday...

if the package has no reasonable suspicion behind it, no smell, no strange looks to it, theres next near no reason for them to even check it.

if you send anything USPS it cant be checked

Also USPS is a service for Americans shipping within America. It has nothing to do with United States customs which deals with import / export to other countries.

theres mass fucktons of mail and the only reason they can open anyones mail is if they think theres an actual bomb inside. people ship flat rate all day there is simply no process to go thru all that mail. there are no dogs, or fbi/atf. maybe at the ups. but definitely not usps (citizen mail protected by law if its usps)

you guys are definitely confusing international mail with USA mail within our boarders. if you do not think international packages are randomly checked, then good luck in life because you lack common sense.

i only assume the reason cuba's package, along with others, were not checked is because they were small amounts. even if they were confiscated, they wouldn't come knocking at your door. they would just take your package and tough luck for you.
